
Loosing weight is a toughest job. Planning a weight loss plan is according to a person’s weight and height which is called as Body Mass Index (BMI). WHO had set a range of BMI which is categorised as underweight, normal, overweight and obese. A person starts his/her weight loss journey when their BMI is in overweight and obese level (BMI which is 25 and above). The first and foremost step for loosing weight is to follow a good healthy diet. A diet will be set up according to his BMI and daily calorie intake per body weight. Like wise all the nutrients can be calculated according to the person. So the meal and diet plan will change person by person but there is some basic and simple weight loss tips which is same for all who are willing to keep their weight in control. - DRINK WARM WATER
Drink warm water especially when you wake up. It is better to squeeze a lemon, or add fenugreek or cumin seeds to make it more useful in loosing fat. Hot water helps in burning fat more fastly. Another important thing is not to drink water between the meals. Try to drink water 30 minutes before a meal.
- DO WORKOUT EVERYDAY
Always do workout and diet together to see the changes. There are lots of workout plans and exercises for weight loss. Choose a right exercise pattern and schedule accordingly. Walking after a meal is also good. Those who are not interested to do workouts can try swimming, walking, step climbing, treadmill, cycling etc.. Physical activity play an important role in burning calories, decrease fat around the abdomen and also to keep energy balance.
- LIMIT SUGAR AND CARBS
Planning a diet with low or no sugar helps in weight loss goals. Sugar contain high calorie and no vitamins, minerals and protein and it is not healthy. Those who find hard to avoid sugar can use honey and jaggery. A person who is overweight and if the intake of sugar is very high, there is a big chance to diagnosed with diabetes and heart diseases.Not all carbohydrates are to be avoided. The carbs which should be restricted are white bread, maida, french fries, potato, cakes, cookies, candies, pasta, noodles etc.. All these are said to be bad carbs.
- EAT FIBER AND PROTEIN
Foods containing high fiber is recommended to loose weight. The fiber helps to get rid of fat and toxins from the body.Fiber helps to control the appetite and person eat less food as they are becoming hungry less often. Combining a protein rich diet along with high fiber helps to build lean muscle and burn more calories. The high fiber foods include bran cereals, lentils, raw fruits and vegetables. The healthy protein sources for weight loss are egg, low fat dairy, pulses, fish, lean meat and chicken.
- AVOID SODA AND JUICES
Sugar is bad and sugary drinks are more worse. Drinking soda and fruit juices gain weight fastly because they makes even more hungry and people will start eating more. Soda have hidden calorie and sugar. Eating a fruit instead of fruit juices is good for health.
A healthy eating habits with proper sleep,correct portion sizes, physical activity and avoiding all the harmful foods helps to loose weight easily. Eating right is good than eating less.
