Foods for your body

Having food while hungry is common for all right? Do anyone think that the food we eat is not just for the sake of making our tummy full. All the food we eat is for our body. Each food have different benefits to our body for each and every cell and organ.

Starting from the brain; brain is the power house of body. For all the human activities , functioning of brain is essential. So give foods to your brain too for the better activities like good vision, hearing, walking, sleeping etc.. Foods for brain include fishes like sardine, tuna, salmon as they are rich in omega 3 fatty acids which helps in developing brain. Some of the super foods for brain are avocados, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, dark chocolate, greek yogurt, kale, oats, brocolli and coffee.

Hair is another important thing everyone wishes to look good right? I wish my hair to be shiny, thick and strong. Protein is the key factor to give strength to hair. Also there are some foods which helps to avoid a hair from dryness, frizzy, thin and easy to pluck out. Green leafy vegetables , beans are helpful and include all protein foods like pulses, fish, egg in your meals.

All the red and orange coloured fruits and vegetables especially carrot and orange are for your healthy eyes and good eye sight. Other foods for eyes are eggs, corn, fish, nuts, beans and liver.

The only sign that a person is having a life means his heartbeats. So for proper heartbeat, good functioning of heart is must. Eat more tomatoes and potatoes. Garlic also helps in beating heart properly. Avoiding bad fats like fried foods and junk foods are better for not to get diagnosed by any heart diseases. Leafy green vegetables, whole grains, cereals, avocados, fishes, walnuts, beans, almonds, seeds are good.

Athletics, fitness freaks, especially needs to build their muscles. Banana, egg, meat, fish,lean chicken,oatmeal, whole grain cereals and healthy fats increase muscle mass.

There are many pollutants which affect our lungs badly. The foods rich in antioxidants helps in providing health to lungs. Brocolli, brussel sprouts, apple, walnuts, berries, brocolli, ginger, garlic, and turmeric are for better functioning of lungs.

Digestive health is essential for every person. The food we eat should digest well to get enough nutrients to the body. For the easy bowel movement and to prevent from constipation, one should add fibers to your diet. Probiotics helps to improve bowel health as they are the beneficial bacteria which is needed for the intestines. Many dairy products especially yogurt, curd are best probiotic. Pulses, prunes, raw vegetables, apple, pears, kiwis, whole grain cereals are best for bowel health.

When we get old, we feel difficult to walk or there is increased tendency to get fractures too. The food we eat during young age gives health when we get old. Bone health is provided by the foods rich in calcium, phosphorus and vitamin D. The foods which provide strength to bone includes milk, celery, oranges, brocolli, fish, seeds, nuts, beans, cheese and fortified cereals and juices.

The last and final thing we give importance to our body is skin. People like their skin to be glow and smooth.A good skin starts with good diet. There are lots of foods especially citrus fruits give benefits to glowing skin. Green tea, salmon, blueberries are good for skin. Fruits and vegetable juices provide much benefit to skin because this contain vitamins, minerals , antioxidants and has anti inflammatory properties.Juices makes us hydrated and moisturizes our body.

Make sure you are adding these foods in your day to day life to ensure better and healthier body. Water is best of all to increase body’s metabolism and helps to nourish each organs. Drink lots of water to keep yourself hydrated.
